The Brazilian lifestyle has been destroying the environment for years. For instance is the pollution of the vehicles. The more you use them, the more air pollution you make, and if each person uses, there will be a completely chaos. Packing in general is thrown away every moment when they could be recycled. Water is massively wasted in this country. People have long showers, waste water washing things that are not meant to be washed on a daily basis. Therefore, there is a real risk to public health and the environment itself.
General waste in Brazil is also horrendous. Our recycling programs don't reach every citizen and there is no incentive for those who contribute with them. Therefore, people feel no motivation to recycle their refuse.
There are more than 3 billion people on the planet under the age of 25. The choices this generation makes will determine whether our planet and its wildlife and natural resource base will be overloaded
You may not be able to reduce global warming, end pollution and save endangered species single-handed, but by choosing to live an earth-friendly lifestyle you can do a lot every day to help achieve those goals. With simple measures, you can greatly improve, such as walk or ride a bicycle for short trips, or take public transportation for longer ones, switch to reusable shopping bags and recycling the rubbish. Changing the world is possible with the mobilization of each other, all we need to do is open our eyes and demand an attitude from the government to look forwards into this matter.
