RESUMO - Críticas piagetianas e psicanalíticas à atual formação de professores.
Neste artigo, parte-se das teorias piagetianas e psicanalíticas para criticar algumas práticas atuais na formação de educadores. Pela teoria psicanalítica, é impossível chegar a um meio termo ideal entre repressão excessiva e falta de limites, mas é possível criticar a idéia de ajustar medidas educativas aos educandos por dificultar a ação educativa e aumentar a impotência de pais e professores. Pela teoria piagetiana, parece claro que a mera repetição de teorias apresentadas em cursos não causa grande impacto na prática educativa e que uma alternativa viável mais interessante para mudar a educação seriam cursos nos quais os educadores possam construir suas próprias teorias sobre sua prática - sendo elas respeitadas por seus formadores.

ABSTRACT - Piagetian and psychoanalytical critique to current teacher education.
In this work, the Piagetian and psychoanalytical theories are used to criticize some of the current initiatives in teacher education. According psychoanalytical theory, it's impossible to find an ideal middle ground between too much repression and the lack of it, but it's possible to criticize the idea of adjusting educational measures to children and adolescents because this jeopardizes educational actions and increases parents' and teachers' helplessness. According to Piagetian theory, it seems clear that the mere repetition of theories introduced in classes does not create a great impact in educational practice and that a viable and more interesting altemative to change education would be having courses in which the educators could build their own theories about their practice, theories which should be respected by teacher educators.
