RESUMO
O principio fundamental das prisões modernas é “melhorar” os indivíduos e prepara-los para desempenharem um papel adequado e correto na sociedade quando forem libertados. O número de infratores reincidentes no mundo crime é cada vez mais crescente, mas qual seria o problema já que a intensão das penas de privação de liberdade seria a reabilitação social do detento. Este projeto de pesquisa tem como fundamento a busca por uma resposta as principais causas que fazem com que ex-detentos voltem ao mundo do crime.

ABSTRACT
The fundamental principle of modern prisons is "improving" individuals and prepares them to play their proper role in society and right when they are released. The number of repeat offenders in the criminal world is increasingly growing, but what would be the problem since the intension of sentences of imprisonment would be the social rehabilitation of the prisoner. This research project is based on the search for an answer the main causes that make ex-offenders return to the world of crime.
