RESUMO
O presente artigo surgiu com a inquietação que ainda se tem atualmente de não se saber com precisão ao certo as verdadeiras atividades realizadas pelos pedagogos nas empresas, sendo que historicamente esse profissional sempre esteve intrinsecamente vinculado a escola. Com o objetivo de se pesquisar a respeito disso, foi realizado um estudo bibliográfico a partir de vários autores pertinentes ao assunto, entre eles: Holtz (2006), Libâneo (2001), Ribeiro (2010), entre outros, para assim identificar as funções desempenhadas pelo pedagogo no âmbito das organizações. Por se perceber a necessidade desse profissional em todas as instâncias em que há ensino e aprendizagem ou seja um ato educativo, são trazidos aqui para discussão alguns sinais da adequação do trabalho do pedagogo á empresa, assim como é feito um estudo sobre o perfil deste para tal função.
