RESUMO:

O Governo Brasileiro está prestes a assinar o acordo para a implantação e padronização da TV Digital Brasileira. Assim como o filósofo alemão fala sobre a linguagem, da mesma maneira a TV Digital tem uma relevante importância no aprendizado e na cultura da população brasileira e mundial.
Muitas famílias brasileiras têm como única opção de lazer passar alguns momentos à frente da televisão, sejam novelas, filmes, jornais, documentários. A implantação da TV Digital Brasileira propiciará a essa população uma diversidade de programação e uma maior qualidade de vídeo, áudio e dados.
Este estudo visa conceituar e definir o que é TV Digital e quais seus impactos na vida social e econômica da população brasileira.

ABSTRACT:
"The limits of my world are the limits of my language". (Wittegeinstein, German philosopher). The Brazilian Government is gives to sign the agreement for the implantation and standardization of the Brazilian Digital TV. As well as the German philosopher it speaks on the language, in the same way the Digital TV has an excellent importance in the learning and the culture of the Brazilian and world-wide population. Many Brazilian families have as only option of leisure to pass some moments to the front of the television, are novels, films, periodicals, sets of documents. The implantation of the Brazilian Digital TV will propitiate to this population a diversity of programming and a bigger quality of video, audio and data. This study it aims at to appraise and to define what it is Digital TV and which its impacts in the social and economic life of the Brazilian population.
