Merger $ Company

Abstract
There are thousands of companies in the world, that to been able to continue strong in the wild labor market start’s to merging with other companies, that way those new groups get their space, name and many times leadership inside the area that they have in the market.
But for this too happened in the right way many things are involved and need to be done based on the laws that are done for this purpose. In order to analyze how this merging happens between two companies, with what purpose and in which way they do that, we come to develop the study presented in this magazine.
This has been done in the first place choosing two companies that went throughout this process, in case Colgate-Palmolive and Kolynos, examining their history, some articles about the merge process, the laws that are involved in the Civil Code (Código Civil Brasileiro), how does it inflicts the accounting on the companies involved, the way that Colgate-Palmolive and
Kolynos dealt with the situation towards its employees.
From this premise, this magazine presents the mergers in 1996, about the acquisition of
Kolynos by Colgate-Palmolive that cause the creation of the Sorriso. Telling the story about the new brand and how the company Colgate-Palmolive deal with the CADE decision about this merger and how they made a new brand starts to grow in place of the old one, Kolynos.

 Fundada em 1806 nos Estados Unidos a Colgate-Palmolive faz negócios em
200 países e está no mercado brasileiro desde 1927.
 Em 1928 ocorre a fusão entre a
Colgate e a Palmolive.
 1920 a empresa havia iniciado sua expansão pelo globo.
 Colgate compra a Kolynos em 1994
