ANÁLISE DO AMBIENTE ORGANIZACIONAL: Técnica indispensável para desenvolver um Planejamento Estratégico de qualidade.

RESUMO

Este trabalho discute a evolução da Análise Ambiental e as técnicas de avaliação das suas vertentes. Ele pretende contribuir não só à compreensão do tema mas, também, à distribuição do uso destas técnicas nas organizações. Análise do Ambiente é saber identificar Oportunidades, Ameaças, Forças e Fraquezas que interfere na empresa no cumprimento da sua Missão. Se adequadamente aproveitadas pela empresa, as oportunidades que são situações externas, atuais ou futuras, podem influencia-la positivamente. Já as ameaças são situações externas, atuais ou futuras que, se não eliminadas, minimizadas ou evitadas pela empresa, podem afeta-la negativamente.

ABSTRACT

This paper discusses the evolution of environmental analysis and assessment techniques of its aspects. It aims to contribute not only to the understanding of the topic, but also the distribution of the use of these techniques in organizations. Environment Analysis is able to identify Opportunities, Threats, Strengths and Weaknesses that interferes with the company in fulfilling its mission. If properly exploited by the company, the opportunities that are external situations, current or future, can influence it positively. Already threats are external situations, current or future, if not eliminated, minimized or avoided by the company, may affect it negatively. Forces are firm characteristics, tangible or not, that can be leveraged to optimize its performance. Weaknesses are characteristics of the company, tangible or not, that should be minimized to avoid negative influence on their performance.
