Nikola Tesla – Master of Lightning

* Imagine a world without electricity, radio, neon lights, integrated circuits, remote control and radar. Could one human being really be behind of that?

* YES! His name was Nikola Tesla and he’s known as the man who invented the 20th century, but most of the people usually call him the “Mad Scientist”.

* The Reason to many of you don’t know him is because he was forgotten by the society. The man who so much contributed to the development of our world as simply left out.

* But, after all, who was this man?

* Well, he was an electrical and mechanical engineer borned at Croatia at 10 July eighteen fifty-six (1856).

* Tesla started working in telephony and electrical companies before emigrating to the United States in eighteen eighty-four (1884) to work for Thomas Edison.

* At America, Tesla became angry with Edison and created the AC system and won the war of the currents against Edison, who as promoting is DC system.

* In eighteen eighty-six (1886) Tesla founded Tesla Electric Light & Manufacturing. * Initial financial investors like John Morgan and George Westinghouse relieve Tesla of his duties at the company. * At eighteen eighty-eight (1888) constructs the Tesla Coil. * He Received one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150.000) from John Morgan to construct Wardenclyffe. (Free World Wireless Energy) * Morgan stopped funding the project. * In Nineteen five (1905) the project was abandoned. * At Nineteen eight (1908) wins the contract to light Niagara Falls with AC electricity. * He died at January 7th nineteen forty-three (1943) at age eighty-six (86), in a hotel room, forgotten by everyone, seeing the world he helped create.
