REPRODUÇÃO DE TARTARUGAS­ MARINHAS - REVISÃO DE LITERATURA

Resumo Se tratando de postura dos ovos das tartarugas, fica claro que o local nem sempre contribui para um bom desenvolvimento da ninhada. O ideal é que a escolha da área para a desova seja feita em um lugar onde a vegetação pudesse proteger os ovos dos predadores, porem esse processo não é adotado justamente pelo mesmo motivo (proteção) porem o inverso, a exposição que a fêmea teria em enterrar os ovos até um local mais seguro, ela ficaria vulnerável a ataques de predadores, sendo uma fatalidade pois morreria ela e os filhotes. Outro ponto de interesse é que mudanças podem ocorrer, as variáveis coletadas foram: tamanho de ninhada, duração da incubação, sucesso de eclosão e fases de mortalidade embrionária. Os fatores responsáveis por essas mudanças esta na temperatura, umidade. A umidade será decisiva nas trocas hídricas e gasosas entre os ovos e o meio afetando a absorção do vitelo e o crescimento dos embriões.

Abstract It comes to laying eggs of turtles, it is clear that the site does not always makes for a good development of the offspring. Ideally, the choice of the area for spawning is done in a place where vegetation could protect the eggs from predators, however this process is not followed precisely the same reason (protection) however the reverse, the exposure would have on the female bury the eggs to a safer place, it would be vulnerable to attacks by predators, with a fatality since died and her cubs. Another point of interest is that changes can occur, the variables collected were: clutch size, incubation duration, hatching success and stages of embryonic mortality. The factors responsible for these changes in this temperature, humidity. The humidity will be decisive in hydro and gas exchange between the eggs and the environment affecting yolk absorption and growth of embryos
