MODELOS MATEMÁTICOS PARA O CRESCIMENTO
DA POPULAÇÃO DO ESTADO DE SERGIPE

Resumo: O presente artigo tem como objetivo investigar as aplicações dos modelos matemáticos apresentados e sob a ótica do crescimento populacional.
A idéia principal é buscar, neste processo de investigação, compreender com a contribuição dos modelos matemáticos para a sociedade. Na escolha do tema, foi levado em consideração o fato do mesmo poder ser analisado a partir dos conhecimentos científicos e contextualizado na realidade do estado de Sergipe. Aplicamos o modelo linear, O modelo de Verhulst e o Modelo Malthusiano, para analisar o crescimento populacional com o objetivo de fazermos a comparação dos resultados obtidos pelos modelos, com os dados estatísticos obtidos no IBGE, no período de 2002 a 2011, e será analisado qual teve o melhor desempenho

Abstract: This article aims to investigate the applications of mathematical models and presented from the perspective of population growth. The main idea is to seek, in this research process, understand the contribution of mathematical models for the society. In choosing the theme, was taken into consideration the fact that the same can be analyzed from scientific knowledge and contextualized in reality State of Sergipe. We apply the linear model, the model of Verhulst and the Malthusian Model, to analyze the population growth with the goal of making the comparison of the results obtained by the models, with the statistical data obtained from the IBGE, in the period from 2002 to 2011, and will be examined which had the best performance.
