RESUMO: Humanizar significa construção partilhada de todos os envolvidos no processo do cuidar, através de um atendimento acolhedor. A Humanização visa valorizar as relações no ambiente hospitalar, resgatar o respeito e a dignidade, bem como atender o usuário em todas as dimensões do seu ser psíquico, social, mental, espiritual e biofísico. Este artigo vem redirecionar o rumo dos acadêmicos e profissionais da saúde, aprimorando os relacionamentos e a qualidade da assistência prestada. Os conflitos diários nos estabelecimentos de saúde são comuns, porém a enfermagem é o principal agente de mudança, pois exerce papel importante através da educação, prevenção, promoção e restabelecimento da saúde além da responsabilidade social. É necessário intervir com novas metodologias e experiências, contribuindo para a qualidade de vida e atendimento da saúde dos cidadãos.
ABSTRACT: Humanization means partake construction of all the involved ones in the process of taking care of, through a glad and good attendance. The humanization aims at to value the relations in the hospital environment, to rescue the respect and the dignity, as well as taking care of to the user in all the dimensions of its being psychic, social, mental, spiritual and biophysical. This article comes to redirect the route of the academics and professionals of the health, being improved the relationships and the quality of the given assistance. The daily conflicts in the health establishments are common, however the nursing is the main agent of change, therefore it exerts important paper through the education, prevention, promotion and reestablishment of the health beyond the social responsibility. It is necessary to intervene with new methodologies and experiences, contributing for the quality of life and the attendance in health of the citizens.
