Passive : usa o passivo quando quer falar sobre uma acao mas você não esta interessado em falar quem ou o que/ fez a acao. 1- they say that the company may close / it is said that the company may close 2- people think that prices will go up / it is thought that prices will go up

1 - people say the man is in his 40s/ the man is said to be in his 40s 3- the police believe he has left the country / he is believed to have left the country

1 - eles dizem que a empresa pode fechar / se diz que a empresa pode fechar pessoas acham que os preços vão subir / pensa-se que os preços vão subir

2 - as pessoas dizem que o homem está em seu 40s / o homem está a ser dito em seus 40 anos A polícia acredita que ele deixou o país / ele se acredita que tenha deixado o país

-if you also want to mention other person or thing that did the action (the agent) , use by
Se você também quiser mencionar outra pessoa ou coisa que fez a ação (o agente), o use by
Ex: prison sentences are decided by judges penas de prisão são decididas por juízes
-however , in the majority of passive sentences the agent is not mentioned no entanto, na maioria das frases passivas o agente não é mencionado
-you can usar it is said,believed + that + clause você pode USAR it is said,believed +that + cláusula ou oracao
-you can use he,the man, ( ex: the subject of the clause ) + is said , believed + to + infinitive (ex: to be) or perfect infinitive ( ex: to have been)

future perfect : will have + past participle

- i will have finished the article by friday , so i will email it to you then
- they will gave built the new terminal in six months' time

--use the future perfect to say somethings will be finished before a certain time in the future
--this tense is frequently used with the time expressions by saturday / march or in two weeks/ months
-- by + a time expression = at the latest.
