Resumo
Este trabalho integra uma pesquisa de mestrado mais ampla e em andamento e tem como tema a contribuição para a prática revolucionária de um processo educativo que se comprometa com a humanização do indivíduo. Nosso objetivo é analisar a catarse como categoria ética cuja função é combater a alienação e, assim, agir em prol da meta da revolução. Para tanto refletiremos acerca da formação do indivíduo e dos objetivos da Pedagogia Histórico-Crítica. Este estudo adotou o método dialético, pois partimos das análises abstratas realizadas pela teoria marxiana e marxista sobre o processo de formação do indivíduo para chegar à questão das complexas mediações existentes entre o trabalho educativo e a prática social em sua totalidade.

Abstract
This academic work is part of a master thesis broader and ongoing and has as its theme the contribution to the revolutionary practice of an educational process that commits to the humanization of the subject. Our purpose is to analyze the catharsis as ethical category whose function is to combat alienation and thus act towards of the revolution. For this we will reflect on the formation of the individual and the goals of the Historical-Critical Pedagogy. This study adopted the dialectical method, as we leave the abstract analyzes made by marxian and marxist theory on the formation process of the individual to reach the question of the complex mediations which exist between al educational work and practice social in its entirety.
