Real Estate Broker. I've worked during the last two summers back in Brazil at a maritime company. The onwers of the company have a very open mind and also do an outside job as "brokers". They find maritime equipments for sale and than find someone who want to buy it, and get a sales comission with the owner of the property. II. History of the career
The concept of Real state started to develop in the United States during the 1880s, but has its real creation in the early 1000s, during the era of feudalism. This career field is really related to the economy. If economy is growing, the opportunity of jobs are higher, and if economy is facing a downturn, the opportunities are not that many. There was a growth projection of 11% in the number of people employed in this field during the period of 2010-2020. c. Where are jobs related to this career most often found? Why?
More than half of all people in this career are self-employed. When starting your career as a real sales agent, you will normally find a job in a Broker agency. But after some experince and a good number of clients and contacts, people choose to self-employment, in my point of view the main point for it is that you don't have to share your sales comissions with your firm.
