RESUMO

O Ensino a distância, surgiu da necessidade social de levar ensino a população que não tinha acesso, por conta de tempo ou distância.
O primeiro registro desse modelo de ensino, foi no ano 1728 na Gazette de
Boston, EUA.
O Brasil teve dois períodos que foram divisores de águas nessa metodologia de ensino. A primeira foi em 1960 com a queda do modelo fordista, devido à transição do modelo econômico e 1990 com a evolução da tecnologia, que para época foi revolucionária, mas se comparado ao que temos hoje...
Tínhamos muito pouco ou quase nada.
Bem hoje o modelo de ensino vem crescendo rapidamente, incentivado pelas novas e observa-se números relevantes se comparado ao ano anterior.
.. Este Artigo objetiva apresentar um breve resumo do conceito do que é o modelo EaD, como surgiu, sua evolução e como está sendo praticada esta modalidade de ensino nos dias atuais.

ABSTRACT

The Distance learning, the social need arose to take a teaching population that did not have access, because of time or distance.
The first record of this teaching model, was in the year 1728 in the Gazette of
Boston, USA.
Brazil had two spells were watershed in this teaching methodology. The first was in 1960 with the fall of the Fordist model, due to the economic transition and 1990 model with the evolution of technology, which was revolutionary for the time, but compared to what we have today ... We had very little or nothing.
Today the teaching model has been growing rapidly, encouraged by new and observes relevant numbers compared to the previous year.
