RESUMO
Mesmo já existente há muitos anos, o problema da sobrecarga de informação está em maior evidencia nos últimos anos. Esse problema tem sido causado pelo rápido avanço de tecnologia, que faz com que as informações estejam cada vez mais acessíveis. Todo esse grande número de informação não é sempre útil. Devido a esse excesso de conteúdo, há falha na assimilação de tudo que foi recebido, gerando um stress. Pensando no bem-estar e saúde dos empregados, funcionamento e efetividade das organizações, esse tema está sendo muito estudado, pois afeta a economia negativamente. A estratégia de coping tem sido uma saída encontrada por estudiosos. Por essa grande importância, esse artigo trata sobre as causas e soluções do stress informacional e estratégia de coping.

ABSTRACT
Even existing for many years, the problem of information overload is more in evidence nowadays. This problem has been caused by the advance of technology quickly, which means that information is increasingly accessible. All this vast number of information is not always helpful. Due to the extra content, there is a failure to assimilate all that has been received, generating a stress. Thinking about the welfare and health of employees, operation and effectiveness of organizations, this issue is being widely studied as it affects the economy negatively. The coping strategy has been a solution found by scholars. For this great importance, this article discusses the causes and solutions of stress and informational coping strategy.
