RESUMO
As construções prediais estão em grande número em basicamente todas as partes do país.
Devido ao grande número de edifícios é necessária a manutenção deles para que dure o tempo correto. Instalações prediais elétricas, hidráulicas, sanitárias e de incêndio devem ser inspecionadas periodicamente para darem segurança aos moradores. Hoje a manutenção predial preventiva é realidade, principalmente nas instalações elétricas. A falta de manutenção nas instalações mais antigas ocasiona sobrecargas, curto circuitos e até perda do patrimônio. Mas, em se tratando de edifícios residenciais, de nada adianta cada apartamento verificar seu quadro de luz, de força e demais instalações, se as instalações do prédio não estiverem em ordem.

IMPORTANCE OF THE PREVENTIVE BUILDING MAINTENANCE
ABSTRACT
The building constructions are in great number in basically all the parts in the country. Due to the great number of buildings the maintenance of them is necessary so that the correct time lasts. Electric, hydraulical, sanitary installations building and of fire must be inspected periodically to give security to the inhabitants. Today the preventive land maintenance is reality, mainly in the electric installations. The lack of maintenance in the oldest installations causes overloads, short circuits and loss of the patrimony. However, in the particular case of residential buildings, besides the necessity of installations maintenance in each apartment, it is also very important to verify if all the buildings installations are in orderly.
