Improving the English Skills without Traveling Abroad is Possible

ABSTRACT: This research aims the reflection on some techniques that can be used by the English teacher and their effects, in order to get advanced skills, and the ways for the proficiency when it is not possible to experience either a short or long period in foreign countries like the UK or the US, to be in touch with the language and its current expressions. Thus, it’ll be presented different ways and tools offered by the media, Internet, and opportunities to reveal a real perspective of the English here in Brazil, to grant a better and more confident status to the graduated teacher or the one with the education still in progress.

RESUMEN: Este trabajo tiene como objetivo la reflexión sobre algunas técnicas que pueden ser utilizadas por el profesor de Inglés; y sus efectos, con el fin de obtener conocimientos avanzados; y las formas de lograr la habilidad cuando no es posible experimentar sea un período corto en país extranjero como el Reino Unido o los EE.UU., para estar en contacto con la lengua y sus expresiones actuales. Así, van a ser presentadas diferentes maneras y herramientas ya ofrecidas por los medios de comunicación, Internet; y las oportunidades de revelar una perspectiva real de Inglés aquí en Brasil, a ser posible lograr un estatus mejor y más seguro para los profesores graduados o los que estan con la educación todavía en curso.
