A IMPORTANCIA DO ESTUDO DA HISTÓRIA REGIONAL E LOCAL NO
ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL1

RESUMO
Através deste artigo pretende-se fazer uma reflexão acerca da importância do estudo da História Regional e Local no ensino fundamental, bem como mencionar sugestões aos professores para trabalharem esta nova abordagem metodológica em sala de aula.
Também, faz citações de autores que na recente historiografia discutem esta temática e ao mesmo tempo propõe fundamentos para que as aulas de história possam ser mais prazerosas, uma fez que o conteúdo trabalhado terá um forte significado para a vida do aluno. A idéia é fomentar a possibilidade de pesquisa com história local já no ensino fundamental, objetivando a formação de cidadãos críticos e sabedores do seu papel histórico na sociedade em que estão inseridos.

SUMMARY
The present article, intends to do a reflection concerning the importance of the study of the local history in the fundamental teaching, well with mentioning suggestions to the teachers for as they work this new methodological abordagem in class room. Also, he/she makes authors' citations that discuss this thematic one in the recent historiography. Besides, the same proposes foundations so that the history classes can be more prazerosas, one did that the worked content will have a fort meaning for the student's life. The idea is to already foment the research possibility with local history in the fundamental teaching, objectifying the critical citizens' formation and conscious of its historical role in the society in that are inserted.
