Throughout the process of historical evolution, the human being has explored the available natural resources in the environment. From century XVIII, with the Industrial Revolution, this exploration intensified and impelled to the nature a load of very intense exploration. In this direction, the public managers had taken some measures for the envirgiment maintenance of the natural resources. In this present work is possible to see some sociable and relevance that identify some transformations in the region of the Parque Ambiental Encontro dos Rios, located in the city of Teresina, Piauí, created with the objective to preserve the environment and to supply to the society a leisure space.
