ABSTRACT
Objectives: To identify the knowledge of FHS nurses on the mental health care from the psychiatric reform, and investigate the relationship between CAPS and FHS in relation to the matrix activities. Methods: Descriptive study with qualitative approach, developed in the FHS of Parelhas/RN, being interviewed eight nurses. The interview contained 32 closed questions related to knowledge in the field of mental health. Results: The subjects showed a good understanding of the changes in the forms of treatment employed in mental health; gave importance to the role of the family in treatment, beyond the social reinsertion of individuals and the home visit as link empowering and indispensable to treatment; and were unaware about matrix support. Conclusion: The nurses interviewed know about
PR and its importance in mental health care scenario in FHS. Nevertheless, the results suggest weaknesses in the relationship between FHS and CAPS, with direct interference in the mental health care provided. Descriptors: Mental

RESUMO
Objetivo: Identificar o conhecimento dos Enfermeiros da ESF sobre a assistência em saúde mental a partir da RP; e investigar a articulação entre CAPS e ESF no tocante às atividades de matriciamento. Métodos: Pesquisa descritiva, com abordagem quantitativa, desenvolvida na ESF de Parelhas-RN, sendo entrevistados oito enfermeiros.
