Resumo
Com o nascimento de uma nova ordem jurídica mudando conceitos e trazendo princípios, como a Constituição Federal e o novo Código Civil, nascem questões antes não abrangidas e questionamentos que precisam de uma solução. O instituto que mais acarretou mudanças foi a
Família, sendo esta alvo permanente dessas questões. Um dos questionamentos mais relevantes neste sentido é o afeto ao filho no fim do relacionamento conjugal, sendo este não abrangido somente pelo casamento, mas nas diferentes formas de se relacionar afetivamente. Neste sentido, este artigo busca esclarecer a responsabilidade dos pais para com os seus filhos, quando resta configurado o abandono afetivo, o que acarreta prejuízo emocional de ordem moral e até mesmo financeira. Busca também vislumbrar as consequências jurídicas geradas aos genitores a partir da omissão deste cuidado e encaminhamento dos filhos para a vida.

Abstract
With the birth of a new law changing concepts and bringing principles such as the Federal
Constitution and the new Civil Code, are born matters not previously covered and questions that need a solution. The institute brought more changes was the Family, which is permanent target these issues. One of the most relevant questions in this regard is the affection to the child at the end of the marital relationship, which is not covered only by marriage, but in different ways to relate emotionally. Therefore, this article attempts to clarify the responsibility of parents towards their children, when left set up emotional distance, leading to a loss of moral emotional and even financial. It also seeks to foresee the legal consequences generated to parents from the omission of care and referral of children for life.
