O ROMANCE MALHADINHA E AS REPRESENTAÇÕES DA SEXUALIDADE OEIRENSE (1970-1980).

RESUMO
O trabalho tem como objetivo flagrar as representações da sexualidade na sociedade oeirense nas décadas de setenta e oitenta a partir da literatura com a análise historiográfica do romance Malhadinha. Tomamos como pressuposto a compreensão da sexualidade não como algo natural e biológico, mas antes uma construção sócio-cultural marcada por sua historicidade. O trabalho constitui em parte da pesquisa monográfica ainda em andamento. Perscrutarei este objeto de estudo através da obra literária Malhadinha de José Expedito Rêgo. Esse romance histórico, pretextando escrever sobre o século XIX, nos instiga pensar as representações sócio-culturais da sexualidade na sociedade oeirense nas décadas aqui pinçada. Malhadinha contextualiza a sociedade oeirense através da projeção histórica da mesma nos anos finais do século XIX, trazendo representações de família, religiosidade, sexualidade, etc. No enfoque das representações sexuais o autor traz discussões a serem abordadas como o sexo: fonte de pecado. Mostrando que a moral cristã permaneceu como fundamenta de controle sócio-cultural da sexualidade, restringindo-o e classificando como pecado.

ABSTRACT
The work aims to catch the representations of sexuality in society oeirense in the seventies and eighties from the literature with the historical analysis of the novel Speckled. We presuppose the understanding of sexuality as something natural and not biological, but rather a socio -cultural marked by its historicity. The work constitutes part of the research monograph still in progress. Perscrutarei this object of study through the literary work of Joseph Expedit Speckled Rego.
