RESUMO
Este artigo tem por escopo a abordagem das questões relacionadas com a origem do crime e suas implicações, buscando apresentar algumas reflexões tendo por base o capítulo XXVII da obra O Leviatã de Thomas Hobbes. O autor expõe seu pensamento sobre o surgimento, bem como as características e adversidades que envolvem a estrutura estatal. A proposta deste trabalho é desenvolver um estudo com ênfase no pensamento de Hobbes, verificando quais os pontos em que o autor destaca como sendo responsáveis pelo surgimento dos crimes no meio social, dentro da estrutura do Estado. Segundo Hobbes, o poder estatal, que é soberano, surge da manifestação da soma do direito natural de todos os cidadãos. Vale ressaltar que o direito natural é inerente e inato a todos os seres humanos. Será abordado a partir da obra O Leviatã, quais os possíveis fatores possíveis colaboram para a ocorrência dos crimes no Estado.

The Leviathan of Thomas Hobbes. The author presents his thoughts on the rise as well as the features and adversities involving state structure. The purpose of this work is to develop a study with emphasis on the thought of Hobbes, checking which points where the author stands out as being responsible for the appearance of the crimes in the social environment, within the framework of the state. According Hobbes, state power, which is sovereign, arises from the sum of the manifestation of the natural right of all citizens.
