Resumo: O presente artigo tem como objetivo discorrer sobre a importância da implantação e efetiva utilização das brinquedotecas no ambiente hospitalar, justificando que dentre as atuações do psicomotricista está a coordenação de práticas educativas nesses ambientes alternativos, por vezes informais. Utilizando como metodologia a pesquisa bibliográfica, embasando em autores como De Meur, A. Staes (1984), Fonseca (1996), Le Boulch (1998), Mello (2006), La Pierre (2007). Acredita-se que a psicomotricidade favorece à criança uma relação consigo mesma, com o outro e com o mundo que a cerca, possibilitando-a um melhor conhecimento do seu corpo e de suas possibilidades e no ambiente hospitalar onde está emocional e fisicamente abalada, ela só tem a contribuir com sua autoestima e favorecer o restabelecimento de sua saúde. Abstract: This article aims to discuss the importance of effective deployment and use of toy libraries in the hospital, explaining that among the performances of Psychomotrician is the coordination of educational practices in these alternative environments for informal occasions.
