RESUMO: Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a influência das variáveis meteorológicas no desempenho da previsão de aeródromo (TAF) de Brasília no período de janeiro a dezembro de 2010. Foram investigados os códigos meteorológicos TAF, METAR e SPECI, de onde as variáveis foram analisadas e interpretadas de acordos com as características e climatologia da região. Ao final, os resultados permitem identificar que entre as variáveis meteorológicas, a direção do vento apresentou o menor índice anual de acerto, 41% em comparação ao índice anual do TAF que foi de 83%. Chegouse à conclusão que fatores como a topografia local, o aquecimento convectivo nos horários da tarde e a evolução temporal das chuvas em decorrência da penetração dos sistemas frontais do setor Sul do país alteraram o comportamento das variáveis meteorológicas e podem comprometer a exatidão das suas previsões e consequentemente reduzir os índices de acertos dos TAF. ABSTRACT: This work aims to analyze the influence of meteorological variables on the performance of Brasília TAF from January to December 2010. To achieve the proposed goal was a desk research in meteorological codes TAF, METAR and SPECI, where the variables were analyzed and interpreted in accordance with the characteristics and climatology of the region. At the end, the results allow to identify which among the meteorological variables, wind direction had the lowest annual rate of correct answers compared to 41% annual rate of TAF that was 83%.
