O estilo numerado Vancouver é usado para a normalização de referências bibliográficas na área da medicina, ciências da saúde e ciências exactas. Este sistema de citação distingue-se essencialmente do sistema Harvard por usar citações numéricas. A grande vantagem é que permite uma leitura mais fácil do texto.
