Abstract: This work was developed with the objective to provide high school students, with the discipline of geography, contact with new technologies through the establishment of the Charter of Hemerobia the surrounding Centro Estadual de Educação Profissional Newton Freire Maia, using images satellite. To adapt better to search used to do, the study of landscape units, classified by them. The project has developed over a period of 3 months, including three classes (two of the first year and one of the second years) of high school. The desktop was distributed in seven sections that were with satellite imagery of Google Earth because of its scale, more definition. The possession of de images, the students were the field, where each group raised the amendments on the use of soil, collected the main plant species native and exotic, sorting through bibliographic reference to geomorphology and soil of the region. At the Hemerobia, ranked units of landscape and built ecotopos of each of these units. They had the opportunity to work with information on the use of satellite imagery in addition to receiving information about the Cbers satellite.
