Introduction A s a topic for my work I chose the personality Tyra Banks, whom I admire for her career and because she has a great influence on women. Besides being model, Tyra had a talk show where she was the presenter and this personality also created the famous reality show “America’s Next Top Model” and she co-created “True Beauty” too.
Tyra Banks has a large influence on people, especially on women and she also is actively involved in numerous causes such as fighting anorexia. In my opinion, the people with these problems gain more strength when they understand that they are supported by famous people, sometimes people who are considered idols. I also think that Tyra Banks is a good example of people who care about others and we live in a world where people tend to be more self-centered/individualist.

Biography

Tyra Lynne Banks is an American actress and model that was born on December 4, 1973 in Inglewood, California. She became known when she won the Miss USA competition. Tyra started to parade when she was in high school and then she went to Paris, France only with seventeen years old. Then, Tyra had an unexpected success, which drew the attention of designers who wanted her to be part in all parades.
She did great photographic works for well known brands and agencies in the fashion world, such as Anna Sui, CoverGirl, Chanel, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, H&M, McDonald’s, Nike, Pepsi, Victoria’s Secret and Yves Saint Laurent, among others.
Tyra Banks is also well known for being the first African-American model to appear on the cover of magazines known as GQ and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She appeared on the covers of high-fashion
