I'm sure you'll love the country - and the people. there are many different places to see and need to decide what's really important for your article about brazil. first, there are the two really "big cities": São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. são paulo is the third biggest in the world, after tokyo and mexico city. It has more than 17 million in habitants... and 6 million cars! you can't talk about são paulo and not mention it's one of south america's most important industrial and economic centers.
And then there is rio de janeiro, land of beautiful beaches, the amazing guanabara bay with sugar loaf mountain and the statue of christ the redeemer on top of corcovado mountain. there's a lot of history in rio, too!
