Theater
Theater is an art form in which an actor or a set of actors interpret a story to an audience in a particular place.
With the help of a script or improvised situations the show aims to present a situation and awaken feelings in public. However, theater can be done anywhere and often engaged are not only actors but also objects (such as in puppet theater) or other forms or functions involved (animals or things).

History
There are several theories about the origin of the theater. Some people think that arose out of the primitive rituals, another hypothesis is the emergence from the reading of stories and from dances, games and imitations.

O teatro é uma forma de arte em que um ator ou conjunto de atores interpreta uma história para um público num determinado lugar.
Com o auxílio de um guião ou de situações improvisadas o espetáculo tem como objetivo apresentar uma situação e despertar sentimentos no público, no entanto pode-se fazer em qualquer lugar e muitas vezes os atuantes não são apenas os atores mas sim objetos (como no teatro de bonecos) ou outras formas ou funções atuantes (animais ou coisas).
Existem várias teorias sobre a origem do teatro. Há quem pense que surgiu a partir dos rituais primitivos, outra hipótese é o surgimento a partir da leitura de histórias e a partir de danças, jogos e imitações.
Nesta época, o teatro tinha grande importância, fazia-se em honra do Deus Dionísio, deus do vinho e das festas.
