Entre o público e o privado: as estratégias atuais no enfrentamento à questão social
Resumo: O objetivo deste artigo é refletir sobre a relação público/privado no Estado burguês e sobre a relação destas esferas no que se refere ao enfrentamento da questão social. Inicia apresentando a origem dessas relações com o desenvolvimento da sociedade burguesa para, a seguir, contextualizar as situações e relações surgidas com a transição ao capitalismo monopolista. Busca demonstrar que nas várias etapas do capitalismo são construídas estratégias econômicas, políticas, sociais e culturais, no intuito de responder às demandas geradas pela contradição entre capital e trabalho. Finaliza apontando as formas atuais destas estratégias que, reformuladas, a partir da década de 1970, sinalizam novos padrões de intervenção na questão social1. Between the Public and the Private: Current Strategies for Confronting the Social Question
Abstract: The purpose of this article is to reflect on the relationship between the public and private in the bourgeois state and about the relationship of these spheres in terms of confronting the social question. It begins by presenting the origin of these relationships at the development of bourgeois society, and then contextualizes the situations and relations that arose with the transition to monopoly capitalism. It seeks to demonstrate that in the various phases of capitalism, economic, political, social and cultural strategies are constructed to respond to the demands generated by the contradiction between capital and labor. It concludes by pointing to the current forms of these strategies which, reformulated since the 1970’s, indicate new standards of intervention in the social question. Key words:
