Choosing your professions!

- What kind of career attract your attention?
The race that attracts my attention is that of educator. My goal is to become a teacher in kindergarten and early elementary school years, working in schools of public or private, in teaching children aged zero to five years and in the early years of elementary school.

-Do a research about your choise. What do a profissional from this area? What are his/ her activities and responsabilities?
In public school, emphasis is given to three of the functions of the teacher:
School administration, supervision and mentoring.
The teacher, school administrator manages and oversees the education system fitting him develop educational policies within a socio-cultural-political, seeking appropriate conditions (material and environmental) for the training of students.
The supervisor in the public school teacher is to assist faculty in order to improve the performance of the use of teaching resources, the methodology of transmission of the content, and finally, proposes the type of assessment that will provide more meaningful results to the development of students.
The role of the teacher-advisor is to assist the student and the whole team is involved in the teaching-learning process (teachers, family and society), proposing alternatives aimed at reducing truancy and access for all to school, making it egalitarian and democratic.

-Where he/ she can work?
The teacher can act on several fronts work, Elam are in schools - teaching or coordinating activities - or day care centers, study centers, and even government agencies. It is a very important job for education and therefore the formation of society.
In the coordination of schools, educators are responsible for verifying compliance under the laws of the educational curricula, and organizing work plans and direct the team of teachers.
