PRODUTIVIDADE DE ALFACE AMERICANA EM DIFERENTES SISTEMAS DE
IRRIGAÇÃO E COBERTURA AGROTÊXTIL

RESUMO: Realizou-se o presente trabalho com o objetivo de avaliar a produtividade de alface americana submetida a diferentes sistemas de irrigação localizada, com e sem a cobertura agrotêxtil. O experimento foi implantado no Campo Experimental de Bebedouro, pertencente à Embrapa Semiárido, em Petrolina - PE. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi de blocos casualizados, em parcelas subdivididas, com quatro repetições. Os tratamentos constituíram da combinação do tipo de irrigação (gotejamento e microaspersão) e do uso ou não de cobertura agrotéxtil, sendo utilizada a cultivar Tainá. Não se observou efeitos significativos para a largura e o comprimento das folhas. A maior produtividade foi obtida quando cultivada com irrigação por microaspersão sem cobertura agrotêxtil.

ABSTRACT : The aim of this study was to evaluate the productivity of lettuce under different irrigation systems located , with or without row cover coverage. The experiment was carried out in the Experimental Trough, Embrapa Semi-Arid, Petrolina-PE. The experimental design was a randomized block, split plot with four replications. The treatments consisted of the combination of the type of irrigation (drip and spray) and use or not of nonwoven cover. A variety of lettuce used was Tainá. In the treatments with cover, nonwoven used was white in color with a weight of 15 g/m², being placed after transplanting in railway arches at a height of 50 cm. No meaningful to biometric parameters evaluated leaf effects noted. The Tainá lettuce showed highest yield when grown with irrigation spray coverage without row cover.
