RESUMO

Por ponto de articulação entende-se a região da cavidade bucal onde se produz o contato dos articuladores, que são os órgãos que obstruem – total ou parcialmente – a corrente expiratória.
No português, as seguintes obstruções são os chamados pontos de articulação: bilabiais, labiodentais, linguodentais (ou apicondentais), linguo-alveolares, linguo-alveolares convexas, linguo-palatais, linguo-palatais côncavas, velares.
Em nossa língua, as consoantes podem ser sonoras ou surdas. Todas as vogais são sonoras, podendo ser classificadas em: anteriores (ou palatais), central, posteriores (ou velares).

ABSTRACT

By articulation points means the region of the oral cavity where produces the contact of the articulators, which are the organs that obstruct - wholly or partly - the expiration chain. In Portuguese, the following obstructions are called articulation points: bilabial, labiodentais, linguodentais (or apicondentais) linguo alveolar, alveolar linguo-convex linguo and palate linguo concave-palatals, velars.
In our language, consonants can be sound or deaf. All vowels are voiced, can be classified as: previous (or palate), center, rear (or velar).
