THE SYMBOLIC PROMESSEIROS AND PROPERTY CHANGES IN OUR LADY OF CARMO PARTY PARINTINS-AM

RESUMO
Este artigo visa estudar a Festa de Nossa Senhora do Carmo em Parintins, no Estado do Amazonas, que acontece nos dias 6 a 16 de Julho, que têm em seus promesseiros uma estrutura social religiosa de promessa e sacrifício como ideia de pagar as bênçãos divinas, adquiridas através da intercessão da Virgem do Carmelo, por meio de um contrato estabelecido com Nossa Senhora do Carmo, onde há a promessa por algo pedido; a dádiva, onde se estabelece o contrato; e o sacrifício, onde a promessa feita é obrigatoriamente paga quando se alcança a graça. Assim, primeiramente será estudada a santa do Carmo como sendo uma festa típica interiorana. Em seguida serão mostradas as festas dos santos Católicos como função social. E por último, será estudadas as relações de trocas dos promesseiros na festa de Nossa Senhora do Carmo em Parintins no Amazonas.

ABSTRACT
This article aims to study the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Parintins, state of Amazonas, which takes place on 6-16 July, which have in their promesseiros a religious social structure of promise and sacrifice as idea of paying divine blessings, acquired through the intercession of the Virgin of Carmel, through a contract with Our Lady of Mount Carmel, where there is the promise of something borrowed; the gift, which establishes the contract; and sacrifice, where the promise is made must pay for when it attains the grace. This will primarily studied the holy Carmo as a typical provincial party. Next are shown the feasts of the Catholic saints as a social function. Finally, we studied the terms of trade of promesseiros on the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Parintins in the Amazon.
