RESUMO
Este trabalho teve com objetivo analisar a liderança feminina na história da Bíblia, e a sua influência no contexto histórico. A Revisão da Literatura mostrou definições, conceitos e abordagens teóricas sobre liderança, utilizadas por renomados autores. Em relação à liderança feminina, foram estudados os casos de três mulheres do Antigo Testamento:
Miriã, a irmã de Moisés; Raabe, a prostituta de Jericó, e Débora, a juíza e profetiza de Israel, e de três mulheres do
Novo Testamento: Maria, a mãe de Jesus; a Mulher Samaritana, e Lídia, a comerciante de Tiatira. Chegou-se à conclusão de que a liderança feminina na Bíblia pode ser considerada um importante exemplo para a liderança feminina na igreja cristã dos dias atuais. A tomada de decisão das mulheres consideradas neste estudo foi de muita relevância para o contexto histórico-religioso da sua época, proporcionando uma influência significativa na história do cristianismo. THE WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP IN THE BIBLE
ABSTRACT
This work aims at analysing the women’s leadership in the biblical history and its influence in the historical context.
The review of the literature shows definitions, concepts and approaches about leadership used by different authors.
Regarding the leadership the case of three women were studied: Miriam, the Moses sister; Rahab, the prostitute from
Jericho, and Deborah, the judge and prophet from Israel. In addition, three other women of the New Testament were considered in the study: Mary, the mother of Jesus; the Samaritan, and Lidia the business woman from Thiatira. We concluded that the biblical women’s leadership can be considered an important example for the women’s leadership at the Christian Church today. In this work, the considered
