Informação aos alunos
Quando lemos e trabalhamos uma “short story”, fazemo-lo por fases e essas fases implicam atividades distintas.
1. While-Reading Activities – Pretende-se que leiam a história com a ajuda do glossário e de dicionário. Devem identificar informação relativa a:

- setting (time and place) – localização no tempo e no espaço
- characters - personagens
- plot - enredo
- point of view – ponto de vista do narrador
- language and style – estilo e linguagem utilizada

Nesta primeira fase convém anotarem à margem todos os elementos que depois vos vão permitir apresentar trabalho.
Uma hipótese de trabalho que permite a arrumação de toda a informação é sob a forma de grelha. Por exemplo como esta:

The narrator

Appearance / physical traits

Personality / attitude / psychological traits

Actions

Speech / language used (formal/informal)
