Abstract: In order to justify his theory and put it away from unwanted criticism and questioning, Legal science was considered by Hans Kelsen like a pure, positivist and anti-ideological science and away from the influence of other sciences. According to the renowned theoretician, the question of values and standards of justice would be related to other sciences such as sociology and philosophy. The legal science should just describe reality, legitimizing itself by its own fundamentals. In its current design, however, legal science must be understood not as an unchanging science, but as a phenomenon in constant transformation, because its existence is justified by the need to solve diverse present and future social conflicts which are impossible to provided by the legislature.
