NOÇÕES CONCEITUAIS SOBRE O BULLYING ESCOLAR E O BEM
JURÍDICO A SER TUTELADO

Resumo: O bullying escolar é tema de recentes debates, estando corriqueiramente presente na mídia. Nos últimos anos, vem figurando como matéria de lides em diversos tribunais brasileiros. Apesar da grande exposição, entretanto, muitas vezes algumas situações são equivocadamente tidas como bullying, devido à divulgação incompleta ou errônea das suas principais características. Desta maneira, dada sua crescente importância, é imperioso trabalhar sua conceituação e verificar qual seria o bem jurídico tutelado quando se discute o bullying escolar.

Abstract: Bullying at school has been the subject of current debates, and is usually discussed by the media. In the last years, it has been topic of discussions in several of the Brazilian courts. Despite the theme’s great exposure, there are times when some situations are wrongly assumed as bullying, due to an incomplete or erroneous exposition of its main elements. Given bullying’s growing significance, it is required to work on a correct concept and to verify what would be the protected legal interest when bullying is the subject under discussion.
