Abstract
Today's Wireless Systems solutions remove the barriers of wired and provide access to information not previously achieved. This includes access to process information, new measurements and information about the status of the equipment, allowing you to manage and diagnose. New solutions are being developed in an attempt to increase the communication speed and increase the reliability and safety of the industrial process. The insertions of wireless communication systems are becoming better and compatible with wired systems, either by cost or by embedded technology, achieving excellent results and improvements in industrial processes. The development of an appropriate design and redesign of protocols brings excellent results reducing electromagnetic interference and increasing the reliability of the information provided.
This paper aims at the presentation and comparison of various wireless communication methods available on the market, showing the basic characteristics of each, and advantages, disadvantages and applications field.

Resumo
Atualmente, os sistemas sem fio removem barreiras nas soluções com fio e oferecem acesso a informações que antes não eram alcançadas. Esse acesso inclui informações de processos, novas medições e informações sobre a situação do equipamento, permitindo gerenciá-lo e diagnosticá-lo.
Assim, novas soluções estão sendo desenvolvidas na tentativa de aumentar a velocidade de comunicação e aumentar a confiabilidade e segurança dos processos industriais. As inserções dos sistemas de comunicação sem fio são cada vez melhores e compatíveis com os sistemas cabeados, seja por custo ou por tecnologia
