ARQUITETURA MODERNA E PÓS-MODERNA: MUDANÇA DE PARADIGMA

RESUMO Este artigo pretende introduzir uma análise, ainda que breve, das tendências arquitetônicas do século XX reconhecidas como movimento moderno e pós-moderno. São apresentadas as características desses movimentos, considerando um recorte histórico de seu processo, seus expoentes e obras produzidas a partir das concepções que se inserem no contexto artístico e cultural do movimento moderno e do pós-moderno. É importante também destacar que a pluralidade e a diversidade são características fundamentais da pós-modernidade. Para tanto, evolução, construção e realidade técnica das referidas tendências, objetos da pesquisa e fundamentação teórica da análise e estudos foram aliados à apresentação de imagens representativas dos dados colhidos a partir da pesquisa e da análise de informações imprescindíveis ao trabalho. Assim foi possível discutir as diversas tendências da arquitetura no final do século XX e início do século XXI. PALAVRAS-CHAVE Arquitetura moderna, arquitetura pós-moderna, diversidade. ABSTRACT This article aims to introduce an analysis, however briefly, of the architectural trends of the twentieth century recognized as the modern and post-modern movements. The characteristics of these movements are presented, including a historical overview of their process, and their exponents and works produced from the conceptions that are in the artistic and cultural context of the modern and post-modern movements. It is important to note that plurality and diversity are fundamental characteristics of post-modernity. Therefore, the development, construction, and technical reality of these trends, the object of research and theoretical grounding and studies, was coupled with the presentation of representative images of the data collected from the research and analysis of indispensable information for the work.
