RESUMO

Neste trabalho foi pesquisado sobre a origem das teorias da administração e levantado os acontecimentos históricos que impulsionaram o surgimento destas teorias. Dentro da história da administração foi estudado como uma teoria complementava a outra e como foram se adequando aos contextos das épocas em que surgiam. São apresentadas as contribuições de seus estudos nas resoluções dos problemas organizacionais das épocas em que estavam inseridas e foi analisado se estes conceitos são válidos para os dias atuais.

ABSTRACT

In this study was investigated theories about the origin of the administration and reared up the historical events have spurred the emergence of these theories. Into the story of the administration was studied as a complementary theory to another and how they were adapting themselves to the contexts of the times they occurred. Are presented contributions of their studies in the resolutions of the organizational problems of the times in which they were included
