As Ordenações Filipinas e a organização da sociedade portuguesa do século XVII

Resumo
O presente artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre a organização da sociedade portuguesa do século XVII a partir das Ordenações Filipinas. Publicadas em
1603, durante o reinado de D. Felipe II (1598-1621), esse apanhado de leis, ao pretender regular a vida dos portugueses em todos os aspectos, é revelador da forma ideal que se prescrevia para aquela sociedade. A partir da análise proposta, chegou-se a algumas considerações referentes aos valores emanados da dinâmica histórico-social, valores estes que no contexto histórico apresentamse como bens sociais, mas ao serem tutelados pelo direito ganham status de bens jurídicos. A legislação revela questões do contexto cultural em questão, tal como a religiosidade cristã, o expansionismo ultramarino e o regime político, então monárquico. Além de aspectos da forma de ser lusitana, as Ordenações Filipinas evidenciam um projeto de sociedade.

Abstract
This article aims to reflect on the organization of the seventeenth century
Portuguese society from the Filipinas. Published in 1603, during the reign of
King Philip II (1598-1621), this digest of laws, by attempting to regulate the life of the citizens in all respects, is indicative of the ideal form that prescribed for that society. From the proposed analysis, it was to some considerations regarding the values emanating from the historical and social dynamics, which are values in the historical present as social goods, but to be safe guarded by the law of property gain legal status. The law reveals issues of cultural context in question, as the Christian religion, overseas expansionism and the political regime, then monarchy. Besides simple aspects of how to be Lusitania, the Filipinas show a project of society.
