“Em palavras de ordem e em linhas de conduta”: a participação dos intelectuais piauienses na Era Vargas (1930-1945)

Resumo: A relação dos intelectuais como o Estado, principalmente na Era Vargas, os transformaram em atores importantes da construção de um novo projeto para o Brasil. No
Piauí, as sociabilidades deste grupo, atuaram de forma significativa a partir do processo revolucionário de 30, inserindo-se nas teias burocráticas do Estado, e passando a atuar em vários setores, contribuindo com as reformas de modernização da capital, bem como nos discursos de ordem e nacionalidades. Por isso utilizamos como referência, leituras de Miceli
(1979), Oliveira (1982), Pandolfi (1999), Bomeny (2001), Nascimento (2002) e outros. A compreensão da participação deste grupo na construção da Era Vargas no Piauí e em outras unidades da federação é de suma importância para podermos analisar sobre este, onde uma das atribuições deste grupo era transformar o discurso varguista “em palavras de ordem e em linha de conduta”.
