A Influência do Transporte no cumprimento do nível de serviço

RESUMO
A logística atualmente assume papel fundamental nas organizações, buscando atender aos requisitos dos clientes – atendimento, tempo de entrega, custos, qualidade, flexibilidade, entre outros – com serviço qualificado. Para tanto, o transporte de mercadorias contribui no cumprimento dessas exigências. Com base nessa relação, pretende-se expor características sobre os temas transporte e nível de serviço, identificando se esses dois aspectos se relacionam – ou não – neste contexto. Serão apresentados conceitos para auxiliar a análise da influência do transporte no nível de serviço, bem como para levantar convergências e divergências sobre o assunto. A metodologia aplicada será a pesquisa bibliográfica exploratória, com análise qualitativa. Os resultados mostram que o transporte influencia diretamente no nível de serviço.

ABSTRACT
Logistics currently has a key role in organizations, aiming to meet customer requirements – service, delivery time, costs, quality and flexibility, among others – with a high level of quality. To achieve this, the transportation of goods contributes to fulfilling these requirements. Based on this relationship, this article outlines features of transportation and level of service, identifying if both aspects have
– or do not have – a relationship in this context. Concepts will be presented to assist the analysis of the influence of transportation on the level of service and to raise similarities and differences on the subject. The applied methodology will be exploratory bibliography research, with a qualitative analysis. The results show that transportation has direct influence on the level of service.
