RESUMO: Neste artigo buscamos entender de como o idoso é excluída da sociedade, no sistema capitalista, após o encerramento de suas atividades produtivas, onde a sociedade passa a ver o idoso como um ser improdutivo, representando para o Estado, que financia o grande capital, como um problema social. Entender como o capital determina a convivência familiar e no mercado que o idoso está inserido. Como também apresentar as políticas sociais que vêm responder a essa expressão da questão social. Analisando essa problemática da questão social, que atinge diretamente a velhice. Desta maneira podemos entender como a instrumentalidade do serviço social viabiliza meios para amenizar essas problemáticas.

OLD: SOCIAL EXCLUSION IN CAPITALIST SOCIETY

ABSTRACT: In this article we seek to understand how the elderly are excluded from society, the capitalist system, after the closure of their productive activities, where the company is seeing the elderly as being unproductive, accounting for the state, which funds large capital as a social problem. Understanding how capital determines the family and the market that the elderly is inserted coexistence. But also present the social policies that have answer that expression of the social question. Analyzing this problematic social issues that directly reaches old age. Thus we can understand how the instrumentality of social service feasible means to mitigate these problems.
