CAMILLE CLAUDEL: UMA HISTÓRIA DE LOUCURA, AMOR E OBRA

RESUMO

Este ensaio procura retomar a história de amor e loucura da artista francesa Camille
Claudel, história esta observada com o auxílio da Psicanálise, para apontar os aspectos que envolvem a paranóia e suas possíveis formas de suplência: o amor, o delírio e a obra artística. Na história aqui trazida sobre Camille constam, principalmente, fatos do romance vivido entre ela e Rodin. Para a época, final do século XIX, a escultora seria alvo de grande preconceito, uma vez por sua profissão, tida como masculina e ainda por sua escolha amorosa, nada convencional, pois
Rodin já tinha uma outra companheira. Na última carta que Camille escreveu, ela define resumidamente o destino que tomou a sua vida nos seus trinta anos finais:
“no exílio”.

ABSTRACT
This essay requires the review of the emotional profile and life story of the French artist Camille Claudel, with the help of Psychoanalysis, to determine the paranoid aspects of her personality that affected the major highlights of her life: love, delirium and art. According to history written above, there are many facts that happened during the romance of Camille and Rodin. Later, specifically at the end of the nineteenth century, the sculptor became a target of great prejudice, once for her profession, but also for her passionate unconventional relationship with Rodin who already had another companion. In the last letter that Camille wrote, she briefly defines the destiny which took her life in her final thirty years: “in an exile”.
