Introduction
Warren Buffett, a recognized billionaire and one of the mo st successful man in the
world had been advising people that they should “find andpursue their passion” in
order to obtain success (Chan, 2010:158). I may say that this project of Independent
Research Study helped me to discover my real passion regarding my career and
professional future.
In an overall perspective, the research achieved my expectations. According to the
feedbacks from my tutor I was able to mold its structure and the research started to get
the right form. The hardest part in this project was in the beginning when Mrs. Heller
and I had to come up with a mutual consensus. On the first meeting, I believe my tutor
was not happy with my first draft and she suggested a total change in the aims and
objectives or change my topic. The suggestion of changing my topic made me realize
that I had to totally restructure my research in a way that wasconvincible enough for
my tutor to take as a viable project. The research most likely progressed from a
“borderline” to a “generally good” feedback, which can be understood as a gradual
process from my learning and way of expressing myself through the drafts turned it in,
in order to come up with results that would satisfy both Mrs. Heller’s and mine
expectations.
This project will be approaching asa Reflective Report based on the Independent
Research Study development and its conclusion in order to aggregate value as an
“essential ingredient in the construction of knowledge” (Freire, 2000:1).

reflective writing must come from a reflective thinking; to look back at a certain
experience, analyze it and be able to learn from what took place, enabling the ability of
understand

actions and thought processes (Ibid). Turner and Rimanoczy (2008:7)

explain this process through Action Reflection Learning (ARL), a learning methodology
that captures the...
