PROPAGANDA ECOLÓGICA E CONTROLE ESTATAL SOBRE O GREENWASHING

RESUMO
O século XXI vem sendo marcado pela crescente importância dada à questão ambiental. Se na pós-revolução industrial a preocupação era apenas de consumir desenfreadamente os recursos ambientais, hoje tem-se uma mudança de paradigma devido ás significativas mudanças nas estruturas sociais, econômicas e políticas em função da relação do homem com a causa ambiental. As empresas atentas à essa nova tendência, valorizar o “verde”, viu na ecopropaganda um arma poderosa de lucro e visibilidade. O uso indiscriminado desse tipo de propaganda, gerando o que denominou-se de “greenwashing”, tornou-se frequente, devendo assim, os órgãos responsáveis dar maior atenção a esse discurso sustentável vazio

ABSTRACT
ECOLOGICAL ADVERTISEMENT AND THE STATE CONTROL OVER THE GREENWASHING
The twenty first century has been marked by the growing importance given to environmental issues. If in the post-industrial revolution there was just the concern of consuming environmental resources, today there`s been a paradigm shift, in response to the significant changes in the social, economical and political role in man's relation to the environmental cause. Companies attentive to this new trends - enhance the "green" - saw in the ecomarketing one powerful weapon that brings profit and visibility. The indiscriminate use of such advertising generated what is called the "greenwashing" and has become common. Therefore, the organs responsible should pay greater attention to this empty sustainable discourse.
